Armenian Genocide centenary-dedicated monument to be erected in Parliament’s yard

YEREVAN, APRIL 9, ARMENPRESS: A monument, dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, will be erected in the yard of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. At the beginning of the session, the President of the Parliament Galust Sahakyan stated that at 13:30 pm the opening ceremony of the monument will take place in the yard of the Parliament.

“During the opening ceremony 100 trees will be planted in the yard of the National Assembly, mainly by the deputies”, - said Galust Sahakyan, Armenpress reports.

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia called all the deputies, the staff of the National Assembly and the journalists to be present at the opening ceremony of the monument, dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
