Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan leaves PAP

YEREVAN, 5 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Mayor of Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan has issued a statement on leaving the Prosperous Armenia Party.

“Taking into consideration leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan’s decision to leave the political party, I no longer have any obligation to Prosperous Armenia Party. At the same time, being the leader of a depoliticized structure, I don’t find it appropriate to continue to be a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party,”Samvel Balasanyan mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.

“I would like to point out that I am willing to collaborate with Prosperous Armenia Party and all political forces for the solution to several issues in Gyumri and to change the situation in Gyumri for the benefit of Gyumri and its citizens,”the mayor of Gyumri emphasized.
