Armenia has made trade worth nearly USD 1.5 billion with EEU member states

YEREVAN, 11 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. In 2014, Armenia made trade worth USD 1,450,311,000 with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, making up 24.5% of the total trade circulation. As “Armenpress” reports, last year, trade with Russia increased by 3.2% and made up USD 402,735,500. Moreover, exports from Armenia dropped by 7.7% and made up USD 308,409,700, while imports of Russian products rose by 6.7% and made up USD 1,094,325,800. In 2014, Russia had 20.3% share of products exported from Armenia and 24.9% of products imported to Armenia.

The trade circulation with Belarus dropped by 19 percent and made up USD 40,068,000 in 2014. Let us mention that exports from Armenia to Belarus rose by 5.5%, exceeding USD 9 million, while imports dropped by 24.1% and made up nearly USD 31 million. The trade circulation with Kazakhstan dropped by 6.5% and made up nearly USD 7.5 million in 2014. In that period, exports from Armenia to Kazakhstan dropped by 4.7% and made up USD 6,951,800, while imports to Armenia dropped by 24.9% and made up USD 556,300.
