YEREVAN, 10 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Yerem Sargsyan, lawyer of the successors for the case of the murder of an entire family in Gyumri, filed today a motion to the preliminary investigative body to perform several investigative and procedural operations.
As “Armenpress” reports, in the motion it is mentioned that according to the charge brought up against Russian conscript of the 1sttank company of the tank battalion of military unit N 04436 of the 102ndRussian Military Base stationed in the Republic of Armenia, on 12 January 2015 at around 06:00 he entered house N 188 located at Myasnikyan Street in Gyumri where with the intention to illegally take the lives of two and more people fired shots with his AKS-74 gun N 1283689 and killed residents of the house Seryozha Avetisyan, Hasmik Avetisyan, Aida Avetisyan, Armen Avetisyan, Araksya Poghosyan and little Hasmik Avetisyan on the spot, after which caused several injuries to different parts of the body of little Seryozha with a knife bayonet with the intention to especially murder him brutally. Seryozha Avetisyan was found and transferred to a hospital where, unfortunately, he died a couple of days later.
Citing part 3 of Article 17 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, by which it is laid down that “the body implementing criminal persecution shall be obliged to take all measures provided for by this Code for a multilateral, full and objective investigation into the circumstances of the case (…)”, Yerem Sargsyan mentions that, for the purpose of multilateral, full and objective investigation and revelation of the circumstances behind this criminal case, he finds that the preliminary investigative body must set forth several versions in relation to the committal of this crime and conduct a multilateral investigation on the basis of the data obtained according to the case, with the purpose of either confirming or denying each of those versions.
“First, taking into consideration the society’s responses to this criminal case, as well as the opinions and statements made in some presses regarding the circumstances of the crime and the person having committed the crime stating that Valery Permyakov might not have committed the crime, the injured party has become worried.
According to Pastinfo, the analysis of certain data serves as basis to make reasonable assumptions that other person(s) might have been helped Valery Permyakov during the committal of the crime.
Due to these considerations, I find that the preliminary investigation body must conduct a multilateral investigation to reveal the real motive behind the crime.”
