Armenia saw 2.5% inflation in consumer market in January

YEREVAN, 6 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Armenia saw 2.5% inflation in the consumer market in January 2015 compared to December 2014, and this is mainly due to the 4.5% inflation for food products. Prices and tariffs in the non-food market and in the service sector have risen in the mentioned period.
As the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the Consumer Price Index made up 104.3% in January 2015, compared to January 2014, including 105.3% for food products (including alcohol and cigarettes), 102.4% for non-food products and 103.2% for services.
