YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS: The Government of the Republic of Armenia and the EU delegation to Armenia held a ceremony of the launch of the eight agreements of EU-Armenia financing on January 16. The new assistance package is directed to the development and reforms in Armenia. With the new instruments it is intended to allocate 77,5 million Euros (44 billion drams).
TheEU delegation to Armenia told Armenpress that the eight agreements are to foster the progress of the bilateral cooperation in a range of sectors, from agriculture to territorial development, assistance to migration and border management, anticorruption and civil service reforms, water supply improvement, reconstruction of the Yerevan underground and nuclear security.
