Child injured in Gyumri had wound in chest area, surgery is over

GYUMRI, 12 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. An up-to 1 year old boy has been transferred to an Austrian hospital and has undergone surgery in the wake of the incident that took place in Gyumri. As the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the child had a wound in the chest area. Doctors conducted a detailed examination of the organs in the child’s abdominal cavity. As a result, it turned out that the organs of the abdominal cavity weren’t damaged. The 40-minute surgery was successful. Currently, the child is at the reanimation department. Doctors say the child is in heavy condition.

The identities of all the victims of the murder in Gyumri have been revealed. As press secretary of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Sona Truzyan reports to “Armenpress”, among the deceased are Seryozha Avetisyan (father), Hasmik Avetisyan (mother), Armen Avetisyan (son of the Avetisyans), Araks Avetisyan (the Avetisyans’ daughter-in-law), Aida Avetisyan (daughter) and Hasmik Avetisyan (2-year old child). The seventh member of the family is Armen Avetisyan’s son, Seryozha Avetisyan, who is 6-8 months old and is at the hospital.
