Russia to provide a $270 million dollar loan and $30 million dollar grant to extend period of operation of the ANPP

YEREVAN, 22 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On December 20, the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation signed in Moscow an agreement by which the Russian party will provide a $270 million dollar loan and a $30 million dollar grant to extend the period of operation of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant until 2027.

As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the agreement was signed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan and Director of the Ros Atom Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko.
