Justice Minister: “Changes in public law are one of Armenia’s most dynamically developing areas”

YEREVAN, 17 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On December 17, Armenia’s Minister of Justice Hovhannes

Manukyan received President of the Board of Directors of the European Public Law Organization,

Professor Spyridon Flogaitis. The minister welcomed the guest and congratulated him on the opening

of the office of the European Public Law Organization in Armenia. Manukyan mentioned that the

changes in the public law sector are one of the most dynamically developing areas in Armenia, as the

Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia

reports to “ArmenPress”.

At the guest’s request, Hovhannes Manukyan touched upon the process of constitutional reforms

in Armenia and said the President of the Republic of Armenia initiated the process due to the need

to implement the principle of supremacy of the law, perfect the provisions of the Constitution

guaranteeing fundamental human rights and liberties, ensure full checks-and-balances and raise the

level of efficiency of public administration.
