Ombudsman showed video showing attacks on Hakob Injighulyan to international partners

YEREVAN, 16 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. A private screening of the video showing the tortures against Armenian military serviceman Hakob Injighulyan in Azerbaijan was held at the initiative of the Ombudsman on December 16. The video, which was taped in Azerbaijan, was seized from Azerbaijani diversionists and provided to the Ombudsman by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. As the Staff of the Human Rights Defender reports to “ArmenPress”, among those attending the screening were representatives of several diplomatic missions and international organizations, including representatives of Great Britain, Germany, France, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the United Nations.

In his turn, Deputy Ombudsman for Military Servicemen’s Rights Armen Grigoryan expressed his deep concerns about Azerbaijan’s inhumane treatment towards Hakob Injighulyan and all Armenian captives, for that matter.
