According to Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan, this year the Constitutional Court took several brilliant decisions that created promising preconditions for the people and protected the rights of tens of hundreds of thousands of citizens. Touching upon the activities carried out by the Police, the Ombudsman mentioned that there have been fewer cases of assaults and corruption over the past couple of years. As for the Investigative Committee, the Ombudsman’s Office has noticed that in spite of the Committee’s short existence, it has carried out human-centered activities where the rights of both the victim and the defendant are protected.
