Details of contractual soldier’s injury have been clarified

YEREVAN, 4 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The sixth garrison investigative division of the General Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has instigated a criminal case in relation to the violent acts against contractual soldier K. Ananyan through the use of a weapon. The identity of the person having committed the prima facie crime has been revealed.

As the press service of Armenia’s Investigative Committee reports to “ArmenPress”, the preliminary investigation showed that on 2 December 2014 at around 1930, head of the combat post, Senior Lieutenant H. Ghazaryan and assistant to the head of the post, contractual soldier D. Saribekyan got into a dispute at the combat post of military unit N of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. H. Ghazaryan irregularly fired shots with the automatic gun attached to him, as a result of which contractual soldier of the same post, K. Ananyan received an injury in his left thigh.
