It is already known under which number Betty will perform at Junior Eurovision 2014

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: Little singer Betty who represents Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will perform under the number 12. This was announced on November 9. The representative of Belarus will come forth under the first number and the Netherlands will be the last – the 16th.

Betty will sing the song “People of the Sun”. This year the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be held on November 15 in Malta.

“Since my childhood it has been my dream to participate in this contest. I dream to win so that next year’s Junior Eurovision is held in Armenia. I confess that I will have a nice performance, I will make all happy, will occupy a good position and we will win. All the participants of the contest have very nice, happy songs,” Betty told journalist before leaving for Malta, Armenpress reports.

The composer of Betty’s “People of the Sun” song is Mane Hakobyan, the author of the words is Avet Barseghyan and the instrumentalist is Martin Mirzoyan.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be the 12th annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place in Malta. This is the first time the contest will be held in Malta. It will also be the third time in the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the event will be hosted by the previous year's winning country, after Malta won the 2013 edition in Kiev, Ukraine, with the song "The Start" by Gaia Cauchi. Maltese national broadcaster PBS will be the host broadcaster for the event. The date of the final is 15 November 2014 and it will be held in Malta Shipbuilding in Marsa, near Valletta. Moira Delia, a well-known Maltese television personality, will host the show. This will be the first time in Junior Eurovision history that there will only be one presenter.

Sixteen countries have confirmed their participation - Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Croatia, San Marino and Ukraine.
