Armenian wins world champion’s title in armwrestling

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS: An Armenian sportsman David Nersisyan won the world champion’s title in the 36thWorld Armwrestling Championship being held in Vilnius, Lithuania. Armenpress reports that David Nersisyan (75kg), who represented Armenia, won the Canadian Joy Costello and took the gold.

In the U-21 tournament, another Armenian Ashot Adamyan (60kg) took advantage of all the rivals, paving way to his victory. In the final round, he beat an Azerbaijani armwrestler.
