YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has expressed a desire to pay a visit to Armenia. The U.S. Embassy to the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the details and program of the visit have not been clarified yet. Among other things, it was stated: “The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has expressed a wish to visit Armenia, but no timeframes are available at the present moment.”

On march 4, in an exclusive interview to “Armenpress” News Agency, the Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Armenia John Heffernstated: “I do not have any details on the visit. Kerry is very much interested in the region; he is promoting the improvement of the relations between Armenia and Turkey. The visit will be regional.”
