Evidence of Karen Petrosyan’s capture and murder are represented to international organizations: Tigran Balayan

YEREVAN, AUGUST 14, ARMENPRESS.The MFA Spokesperson Tigran Balayan, at the request of“Armenpress”, again touched upon the circumstances of the Armenian captive Karen Petrosyan’s murder in Azerbaijan and the media publications on the reaction of the Foreign Ministry.

Question: There were media publications that the Foreign Ministry remains silent and does not react to the circumstances of Karen Petrosyan’s murder in Azerbaijani captivity.

Answer: It is regretful that even such a tragedy can be used for the purpose of speculation. On the day of the murder the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted and strongly condemned that crime.

Evidence of capture, public humiliation and murder of the citizen of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the corresponding assessments are duly represented to the international organizations and partner countries.
