YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS. "Upper Lars" checkpoint is still overcrowded and there is some congestion. In a conversation with “Armenpress” this was stated by MFA Spokesman Tigran Balayan, who stressed that congestion occurred in the result of unusually large passenger flow.“The checkpoint functions in its normal way. The Russian side assures that the problem is purely technical: they simply do not manage to serve in time," said Balayan.
Queues were formed on the Russian side. Apparently, this is due to the flow of people wanting to relax on the shores of the Black Sea - in Georgia.
