"Rosneft" has completed monitoring of Armenian "Nairit": results are not known yet

YEREVAN, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS. Russian "Rosneft" company conducted monitoring in Armenian "Nairit" company, examining the condition of the old plant and the opportunities for the construction of a new venture. During a meeting with the journalists, this was stated by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan. According to him, the monitoring includes technical, financial and environmental studies. ““Rosneft” had promised to study the potential of old "Nairit" plant and the possibility of construction of a new venture. How they will present the results of the monitoring and to what conclusion they will come, we do not know yet,” reports “Armenpress”, citing the Minister.

Referring to the question of how the sanctions against a number of Russian companies, including "Rosneft", will affect Armenia, the Minister noted that there are no concrete agreements with "Rosneft", so the sanctions cannot affect Armenia.
