Border villages of Tavush are steadfast: shots didn’t manage to stop even agricultural works

YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS.In the evening of August 3, the enemy again opened fire in the direction of the border villages of Tavush region, but fortunately no one was killed or injured. “Armenpress” spoke to the community leaders of the targeted villages. The Governor of Chinari village Samvel Saghoyan noted that the shootings cause material damage, but that does not bother them. "Our houses are already damaged by the shots. It is important that we are bold, no one has left the village," said Saghoyan, adding that the strong Armenian army is standing by their side, and the Armenian borders are inviolable.

The Governor of Barekamavan Gagik Abazyan informed that it’s two days that the shooting has stopped and the situation is calm in the village. "Thank God, we managed to carry out agricultural works and the wheat harvest was successfully accomplished," he said.
