YEREVAN, AUGUST 2, ARMENPRESS. On August 2, in the North-Eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact, from the positions located near the Azeri settlement Kemerli, the enemy fired Barekamavan village from large caliber firearms.
To silence the enemy’s firing points, fire was opened in response in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions and Azerbaijani armed forces units stationed in the village Kemerli. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Armenia, according to the preliminary data, the Azerbaijani side has suffered considerable losses. From the Armenian side there are no casualties.
The Armenian Armed Forces continue to control the situation along the line of contact.
