Armenia's PSRC to allow launch of "Stapanavan 2" small hydroelectric plant

YEREVAN, JULY 15, ARMENPRESS. During the upcoming session, the Public Services Regulatory Commission will provide electricity production license to Shumen Ltd, which is the beneficiary of "Stapanavan 2" small hydroelectric plant. As reports “Armenpress”, electrical energy (power) production license will be given until December 29, 2030 as operation period, the construction period of which is up to December 29, 2015.

By the license Shumen company is committed to build or rebuild "Stapanavan 2" small hydroelectric plant with an estimated capacity of 545 kW, produce electricity and sell it under the market rules.
