Sona Rubenyan participates in "New Wave" contest hoping to win

YEREVAN, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS. This year's representative of Armenia Sona Rubenyan in "New Wave" international contest of young performers gets ready with great responsibility for the prestigious competition. The competition this year will be held on July 22-27 in Jūrmalā and will be broadcast by "Shant" TV. In addition to competition concert broadcast, it is scheduled to feature diaries that will enable the viewers to better understand the Armenian singer’s routine within the competition.

The winner of a number of projects Sona Rubenyan, on the eve of the contest, on July 9, at the press conference said that she was glad to represent Armenia in Jūrmalā. "It is a great responsibility to represent the country in such an international competition. This is my first international competition, and I hope that everything will be okay. If it is a contest, then one goes there to win, and my super-goal is to win. I will do everything to be the winner", as reports "Armenpress ", said Sona Rubenyan. According to the competition rules, the participant must present three songs - an international hit, a national hit and the singer’s song.
