Gagik Harutyunyan wants his children to live in country with anthropocentric Constitution

ARMAVIR, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The regional round of public discussions on the initial concept of the constitutional reforms continues: the current one is held in the administrative center of Armavir Region – the city of Armavir. Representatives of the social, political institutions, as well as interested citizens have gathered in the hall of the city’s Regional Administration.

Chairman of the Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan made a historical overview and introduced the bases of constitutionality in the history of Armenia, coming to the present day. "Developments in all of the newly independent states went through the creation of state grounds: to create state authority bodies, to establish their supremacy, but how to solve this problem simultaneously with the equivalent protection of human rights? First of all, constitutional solutions are required, directed to the recognition, assurance and protection of human rights” – reports “Armenpress”, citing Gagik Harutyunyan.
