New project defines rate reductions of fines for law breaker drivers in some cases

YEREVAN, JUNE 17, ARMENPRESS. By the project of the law directed to making amendments in the Code on the Administrative Offences of the Republic of Armenia which was approved by the Government, a series of rate reductions are defined for lawbreaker drivers. The Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Mkrtchyan introduced the amendments made in the project at the course of the press conference held in Armenpress Press hall. “By March 27, 2014 resolution of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, a working group was established the goal of which was the review of the fines amounts for the frequent violations of the traffic. In the result of part of the work activities of the working group the law draft of the Republic of Armenia was established on making amendments in the Code on the Administrative Offences of the Republic of Armenia. It was approved by the Government and was introduced to the National Assembly by the defined order,” the official stated.
