Charles Aznavour's discography already available to fans

YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. The legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour’s discography comprising the works of different years will be available to fans from April 28. As reports “Armenpress”, referring to the singer's official Facebook page, the discography consists of 32 CDs.

“The singer who was announced "Best Artist of the Century" by "The Times" magazine, on May 22 celebrates his 90th anniversary. To celebrate this jubilee his discography will be introduced to the public” – is written in the note.

The discography includes Aznavour’s unique works created from 1948 to 2011. "Being a specialist of Charles Aznavour's work, I had a very active part in the preparation of the discography consisting of 32 CDs. Usually I work with everything that deals with Aznavour: movies, books, records” - in a conversation with “Armenpress” informed AGBU Paris branch responsible for the organization of the concerts Aig Potukyan.

The famous French-Armenian singer, songwriter, actor and public figure Charles Aznavour was born on May 22, 1924, in Paris. He is the author and performer of many famous works. Over 100 million CDs of his works have been sold. Since 2009 Aznavour is the Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland, as well as the permanent representative of Armenia to the UN Geneva office and other international organizations. This year is the 90th anniversary of the eminent singer, jubilee celebrations will be organized in different parts of the world.
