EU to allocate EUR 650 thousand to Armenia for anti-corruption program

YEREVAN, MARCH 25, ARMENPRESS. The civil society of Armenia will be involved in the comprehensive struggle against corruption. Due to the EU funded program “Comprehensive Encouragement of Fight against Corruption” the involvement of the Civil Society Organizations in the encouragement and implementation of the anti-corruption reforms will be expanded.

At the opening ceremony the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Aram Orbelyan stated that the vast program will be directed at the establishment of dialogue between the state agencies and civil society in the fight against corruption. “We’ll also have another vast program, which will be directed at providing support to the state agencies to notice corruption and legal problems.
