Ministry of Finance buys back 1.5 billion bonds

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Finance conducted buyback auction of state (treasury) medium-term AMGN36294159 issued bonds. The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the volume of bonds subjected to buyback amounted to 1 billion 500 million AMD. The introduced volume of buyback amounted to 3 billion, 796 million AMD. The repurchased volume amounted to 1 billion 500 million for which 1 billion 584 million 587 thousand 78 AMD was paid from the state budget. Limited profitability of bonds buyback is 8.19 percent.
