Armenia increases vehicles import by 18.5 percents

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. The vehicles import to the Republic of Armenia has been increased by 18.55 last year in comparison with 2012, thus reaching 41 thousand 102 pcs. Armenia imported 2,4 thousand vehicles from the Russian Federation, which equals to the 6 percent of the total number. In accordance with the data of the State Revenue Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia about 61.5 percents of cars or 25 thousand 257 vehicles imported to our country cost up to USD 5 thousand, while the number of vehicles costing USD 5-10 thousand totaled 8 thousand779 or 21 percent of their total number. As reports “Armenpress” the import of the most expensive cars (costing more than USD 30 thousand) has been reduced by 15 percent in comparison with 2012 and totaled 1332 pcs. The number of the most expensive cars imported to the Republic of Armenia reached 1567 pcs. in 2012.
