Armenian policemen to provide security at Sochi Olympic Games

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 5, ARMENPRESS: The policemen of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation cooperate to provide for the security during the Sochi Olympic Winter Games.The Responsible for the Public Relations Department of the Police of Armenia Ashot Aharonyan told Armenpress about it.He stated that this cooperation has an operative-tactical nature.

The Head of the Police of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan and the Minister of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev had met before that in Sochi and reached an agreement on the corresponding cooperation.

All the security-related issues of the Sochi Olympic Games are in the center of attention of the Russia’s high-ranking authorities and it has already been confirmed that the security of the participants and the guests will be provided in the best way.

The Sochi Olympic Winter Games will launch on February 7 2014.
