Fundamental freedoms cause serious concern in Azerbaijan: PACE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. The reports made by the British MP Robert Walker on the results of the presidential election of Azerbaijan held on October 9, was stated at the session of Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe held in Vienna on November 22.

“Armenpress” reports that “Turan” was informed in the press service of PACE that though that report assesses the election to be free, fair and transparent, PACE believes that the fundamental freedoms “cause serious concern” in Azerbaijan.
