Armenia beats Czech Republic 2:1

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS: In framework of World Cup 2014 qualification round National football team of Armenia defeated Czech Republic in Prague 2:1. “Armenpress” reports that on the 31st minute the score opened midfielder of Armenian national team Karlen Mkrtchyan with a beautiful kick. In the second half Tomas Rosicky scored the response goal, but 2 minutes before the end of match Gevorg Ghazaryan scored the last goal of the match and Armenia defeated Czech Republic 2:1.

After seven matches Armenia has 9 points. Italy is the leader of the group with 14 points.

On September 10 Armenia will host Denmark in Yerevan.
