Georgian Patrol Service workers to exchange experience with Armenian Police

YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS. The Delegation of the Police of the Republic of Armenia led by the Head of Police, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan paid a working visit to Georgia on August 9. The Press and Public Relations Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that the Georgian colleagues met the Armenian delegation on the Armenian-Georgian border and escorted them to Tbilisi. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili hosted the delegation led by Vladimir Gasparyan in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

At the course of the official meeting the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues regarding the current state of cooperation and the prospects of its future development. Among other things the both sides highlighted that the cooperation between the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia must be given a new incentive and practical steps must be taken to turn the cooperation into a daily joint activity. In this respect the sides reached an agreement that the representatives of the Georgian Patrol Service will came to Armenia for the exchange of experience with the relevant unit of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
