Tariffs on services provided to population increased with 5 percent in Armenia

YEREVAN, JULY 31, ARMENPRESS: In sphere of services provided to population compared to June 2013, in July the tariffs increased by 5 percent which is a result of 12.1 percent increase for housing and communal services. “Armenpress” reports that about this informs National Statistics service of the Republic of Armenia. According to the information provided by the service the total increase for gas and electricity in July was 14.5 percent.

In July compared with June of current year has been recorded 0.4 percent increase for transport, 0.4 percent for medical service, 0.4 percent for catering services tariffs. Tariffs for legal and banking system services have decreased with 0.9 percent, services of cultural sphere with 0.5 percent. The tariffs of communications, educational system services remained unchanged.
