Armenia's population well-disposed towards Customs Union membership: GALLUP

YEREVAN, JUNE 24, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian population is well-disposed towards our country's possible membership in the Customs Union.

The Director of the Armenian representation of GALLUP International association Aram Navasardyan stated this during the press conference held on June 24. Aram Navasardyan introduced the results of the public opinion poll they have conducted on the order of the Eurasian Development Bank in the territory of Post-Soviet republics in 2012. As reports "Armenpress" the Director of the Armenian representation of GALLUP International association underscored: "61 percent of the respondents in Armenia is well-disposed towards our country's possible membership in the Customs Union. 26 percent of the respondents stated that they are not interested in that topic and only 4 percent stated that their attitude is negative." In addition Aram Navasardyan mentioned that only about 30 percent is well-disposed towards Customs Union membership in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
