First event of Armenian presidency in CoE will be held in Strasbourg

YEREVAN, JUNE 17, ARMENPRESS: The first of event of Armenian presidency in Council of Europe, dedicated to human rights for specialists of legal sphere will be held in Strasbourg since June 18 to June 19. During the two day lasting event attention will be paid to various aspects of this issue.
“Armenpress” was informed from Press, Information and public relations department of Armenian Foreign affairs ministry that at the vent with opening speech will perform permanent representative of Armenia in Council of Europe Armen Papikyan and head of directorate General of human rights and rule of law. Commissioner of Human RIghts of Council of Europe N. Muizneiks will also perform with a report.
Representative of 47 countries of Council of Europe, as well as authoritative international organizations will take part in the conference.
The aim of the HELP Programme is to continue to integrate European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) standards, as interpreted by European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) case law, fully into the national curricula of training institutions for the professional training of judges and prosecutors in all Council of Europe member states.
