Ani Christy to introduce a new clip

YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS. Popular singer Ani Christy is engaged in the production of a new clip. In a conversation with "Armenpress" the Armenian singer noted that the aforesaid clip is being shot in the United States. This will be a new song. Arsen Grigoryan authored the music, the lyrics - by Anita Hakhverdyan. Among other things Ani Christy underscored: “This year we shall celebrate the 15th anniversary of my creative activity. This will be a special year. There is much to be done yet. Wait for surprises.”

Currently singer Ani Christy lives in Los Angeles, the United States of America. There she is busy with serious professional activity and continues her musical education. Recently she paid a visit to Armenia. Ani Christy arrived in Yerevan in the early morning on April 5. The singer has come with new creative ideas and programs and is full of willingness to realize them.

Ani Christy (Ani Martirosyan) was born March 15th, 1986, to a family of artists. Her father was an actor, and her mother was a concert violinist maestro. A love of art was present in the home from her earliest childhood, and Ani Christy attended the many theatre performances with participation of her father. At a very early age, she knew almost all of the plays and the songs by heart, and could 'mirror' her father's songs and theatrical productions, which she performed to amuse her parents.

From her earliest age, however, her dream was not to become a singer, but rather a doctor or a lawyer; this was despite her singing talents, which she inherited from her grandmother. The desire to be a singer started in her early school years. It began as a very casual interest, which then grew into a stronger desire that eventually guided her into the art of singing.

In 2008, New York's CAC Award, representing Armenia, was awarded to Ani, who was given the title of best singer. In 2010, she received the same award for the second time, and was experiencing the best of times in her career.
