Armenian sambo team placed 3rd at Russia's President Vladimir Putin Sambo Cup

YEREVAN, JUNE 10, ARMENPRESS: The Men’s team of the Armenian Sambo Federation placed the 3rd at the international sambo tournament Russia’s President Vladimir Putin Sambo Cup held on June 6-8. As Armenpress was reported by the Sambo FederationofArmenia, the Armenian sambo wrestlers shared the third place with the Ukrainian team, the Belarus team occupied the second place and the first horizontal went to the Russian representatives.

At the European tournaments of 2013 the Armenian sambo wrestlers of the Armenian Sambo teams won 15 medals, 3 of which are gold, 5 – silver and 7 – bronze. The Armenian sambo wrestler won another one silver and two bronze medals at the rounds of the World Cup.
