Young virtuous Narek Kazazyan to celebrate birthday with friends

YEREVAN, JUNE 3, ARMENPRESS: The young qanun player Narek Kazazyan celebrates his birthday on June 3. He is 17 now. The virtuous musician presented Armenia at the authoritative contest Eurovision Young Musicians 2012and got the third honored place. Narek Kazazyan from Vanadzor told the Armenpress correspondent that he is going to spend his birthday in a very interesting and festive environment.

“My friends and teachers will come to my place and we will celebrate my birthday together. As the majority of my friends is musicians, I think it is not excluded that we will arrange a small concert at my apartment”, - said Narek Kazazyan.

The young musician stated that currently he is preparing for the final exams.

Narek Kazazyan was born in 1996 in Vanadzor. Since 2004 he has been the student of the department for piano and qanun at the Vanadzor State College of the Arts named after Tavrizyan. Since 2006 he has been the member of the “New names” Association. In 2010 the young qanun player was awarded with the Special Prize and got the Young Virtuous title at the National Music Awards. In the same year Narek Kazazyan was the winner of the 6th Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS States and a gold medalist.

The qanun player performed concerts in different countries, like Sochi, the United Arab Emirates, France, Switzerland, the Russian Federation, etc. Narek participated in different authoritative international contests.
