YEREVAN, MAY 13, ARMENPRESS:The world famous guitarist of the popular rock band Black Sabbath and the author of the song Lonely Planet Tony Iommi appealed to his fans to vote for the Armenian rock band Dorians, which will present Armenia at the Eurovision 2013 International Song Contest. As reported by Armenpress, in YouTube there has been published a video, where the legendary rock musician appeals to his fans to vote for his authored song at the Eurovision 2013.
The Eurovision 2013 International Song Contest was officially opened at the Opera Theater building in Malmö, Sweden. The Armenian rock band Dorians and the Armenian delegation is already in Malmö.
Recently Dorians gave an interview to the website Esctoday, which highlights the events ofthe Eurovision, sharing their impressions about the rehearsals, as well as the meeting with the representatives of other countries, participating in the Contest.It should be mentioned that after the first part of the concert the band was leaving to the backstage accompanied with calls “We want more”.
Answering the question if Tommy Iommi will be present at the concerts of the Contest, the responsible for the Eurovision project of the Public Television Gohar Gasparyan answered that no information is available and that it would be a surprise by the legendary musician.
The present 58th Eurovision will be attended by musicians from 39 countries. The event will be covered by a thousand and a half of journalists. About 100,000 guests are expected to be present. The two semi-finals of the Contest will be held on May 14 and 16 and the final concert will take place on May 18.
