Ballot recount ended

YEREVAN, MAY 10, ARMENPRESS. The activities of ballot recount of the elections of Yerevan Council of Aldermen ended in the Central Electoral Commission on May 10. As reports “Armenpress” no changes have been recorded in the votes according to the results of recount of the elections in 47 polling stations at the end of recount activities of 97 polling stations in the period from May 7 to May 10 defined by the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia.

In the result of unsubstantial changes recorded in the remaining 50 election stations the number of ballots in favor of the parties “Mission” and “Armenian Revolutionary Federation - Dashnaktsutyun” has decreased by 2 each, the number of ballots in favor of the party “Prosperous Armenia” – by 23, the number of ballots in favor of “Hello, Yerevan” bloc – by 11. The number of ballots in favor of the “Armenian National Congress Party” decreased by 6. The number of ballots in favor of the Republican Party of Armenia increased by 3 and the number of ballots in favor of “Rule of Law” decreased by 1.

The number of invalid ballots increased by 47 in the result of the recount activities.
