Fortifying and cleaning works launched in St. Norashen and St. Minas churches in Tbilisi

YEREVAN, APRIL 2, ARMENPRESS. Fortifying walls and cleaning works launched in two Armenian churches of St. Norashen and St. Minas in Tbilisi. Expert on Georgia Joni Melikyan stated this in a conversation with "Armenpress". Also Joni Melikyan underscored: "A library was opened in St. Norashen church yet during the Soviet years. After a huge amount of garbage gathered there and currently the Commission under the Ministry of Culture of Georgia launched cleaning activity."

The dome of St. Norashen cracked and they can result in the collapse of the church. The fortifying of the walls also is realized due to the efforts of the Commission under the Ministry of Culture of Georgia. A number of representatives of public organizations, patriarchate members have been included in the aforesaid commission.
