Armenian boxers in European Championship finals

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: Two Armenian boxers out of three are already in the finals of European Boxing Championship semi-final stage hosted in Kaliningrad. As Armenian Boxing Federation informed Armenpress, world champion Koryun Soghomonyan 49 kg competed with Russian representative Vasily Yegorov. Soghomonyan gained an advantage over his opponent and passed to the final stage with 13:10 account.

Aram Avagyan 56 kg recorded success against Azerbaijani Javid Chaladiev. Chaladiev is world and European youth champion. Narek Abgaryan will compete his forces on December 17. His opponent is Russian Vasily Vetkin .

Soghomonyan and Avagyan are European Boxing Championship silver medal winners. Our boxers will continue the fight for European Champion title on December 18. Boxing Championship kicked off on December 9 and will end on December 19.
