An action is brought against the servicemen of Arabkir Police Division

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. A criminal case is brought against the servicemen of Arabkir Police Division of Yerevan Police Office of the Police Yerevan City Department of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the 1st part of 308th article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia for the abuse of authority. The Special Investigatory Service of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" about this.

It turned out that several servicemen of Arabkir Police Division of the Police Yerevan City Department of the Republic of Armenia received calls from a number of civilians about the cases of robbery, theft, hooliganism during the period of 2011-2012 kept the aforementioned cases of violations in secret on behalf of the group and did not take any measure for their discovery, which caused essential damage to the legal welfare of both the citizens and the state. Currently the case is in the stage of prejudicial inquiry.
