EuFoA calls NATO and EU to condemn Azerbaijani actions and demand an explanation from Hungary

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: European Friends of Armenia organization condemns Azerbaijani officer and criminal Safarov’s extradition to Azerbaijan. The statement provided to Armenpress runs as follows:

''Hungarian Orbani Government ,already condemned by EU ,entered into a deal with one of European authoritarian countries- Azerbaijan.Safarov was sentenced to life imprisonment for severely killing Armenian officer with an axe in Budapest within the course of taking NATO English language courses in 2004. As it was expected Azerbaijani Government ignored all European standards, relevant international treaties, its own criminal law and immediately granted amnesty to Safarov. Moreover Safarov was declared major of Azerbaijani Army . This act is anti Armenian vivid example, under Azerbaijani bellicose historicity. This is only the start, about which European Friends of Armenia always kept informing.

European Friends of Armenia organization calls NATO and EU strictly condemn Azerbaijani similar actions and demand explanations from Hungary for the sake of justice repair. In those days numerous Hungarians expressed their sympathy to us and are protesting against their Governbment action. If EU shows serious approach to the keeping its values, similar cases would not be orchestrated. NATO should not tolerate such incidents within the framework of its activities. European value keepers are not supoposed to respond on current moment and not in intensive way''.
