The corpses of killed Armenians were taken out of conflict area of Damascus

YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS: Due to efforts of Red Crescent it was managed to take out from Damascus's conflict area the copses of killed Armenians who had been killed some days ago. Armenpress was informed from Armenian primacy of Damascus that the corpses of Matosyans were taken out two hours ago.

Armenpress had earlier reported that on August 28 in Jobar district of Damascus in unknown conditions Petros Matosyan born in 1963, Gevorg Matosyan born in 1966 and 22 years old Levon Matosyan were killed.

In result of clashes between opposition and Governmental forces in Syria more than ten Armenians have died and two of them were soldiers of Syrian Army. During the last period representatives of Armenian community of Syria also began to leave the country. The applications submitted from Syria by our compatriots are being envisaged by accelerated procedure, at least within ten days. 41 families consisting of 76 members have applied to migration service of Armenia in order to get habitation and already 27 families have got temporary habitations.
