Yerevan, July 26, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian American author Chris Bohjalian's novel on the Armenian Genocide, ''The Sandcastle Girls,'' is in the New York Times best-selling list. As “Armenpress” reports citing the Armenian Weekly, it is in the 7th place.

It is not the first time that the American Armenian author’s works appear in the New York Times honorable list. His “Skeletons in the Feast”, “Secrets of Eden” and other works were also in the first places of the list. Bohjalian has started a three-week trip to the US 20 countries to represent the content of his book.

A few days ago the ''The Sandcastle Girls'' was included in the well-known American television broadcaster Oprah Winfrey’s “necessary to read” books list.

50-year-old Chris Bohjalian is a popular writer in the United States. It is already 20 years that his works are recognized as “best-sellers” by the prestigious publications as New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post, the Boston Globe.
