‘’ Golden Apricot’’ hosted Agnieszka Holland

YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS: "Golden Apricot" International 9th Film Festival hosted the world-famous Polish film director Agnieszka Holland. Within the frame of ‘’ Yerevan premiers’’ her ‘’ In Darkness’’ film, "Oscar" candidate is scheduled to be presented.''In Darkness'' has been selected as the Polish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. In January 2012, the film was named as one of the five nominees.

Holland is most famous for her military and psychological dramas, dedicated to the Polish Jews in World War II. Holland’s ‘’ In Darkness’’ film touches upon the same topic.
