YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS: 42 years old shooter from Armenia Norayr Baghtamyan will be the most experienced sportsman of Armenia during the Olympic Games which will take place this summer in London. He gained the 4th place during the Olympic games of 2004 in Athens. After four years he took part in Olympic Games of 2008 in Beijing and had very bed performance. He has won many international tournaments and will try his luck in Olympic Games for the third time.
Head of Armenian delegation in London Olympiad, Deputy President of Armenian National Olympic Committee Derenik Gabrielyan told Armenpress that Baghtamyan simply had not been lucky during the previous Olympiads, but he is a very experienced sportsman, one of the best shooter of Europe and “his gun may shot well in London”.
The main opponents of Armenian sportsman will be shooters from Russia, Great Britain, Ukraine, Italy and other countries. Baghtamyan knows them all very well.
