Communist Party may run for parliamentary elections with the Republican Party of Armenia

YEREVAN, MARCH 12, ARMENPRESS. The Progressive United Communist Party will possibly run for upcoming parliamentary elections in a united list, leader of the party Vazgen Safaryan told the reporters today, stressing that currently negotiations are underway with the Republican Party of Armenia in that direction. He said the reason of running for elections is not good condition of the state and their goal is to return all the positive of the soviet years – free education, medicine, jobs for young people and apartments.

"A big part of the population will unite over the slogan of social justice," Safaryan said, expressing hope that Armenia's communists will get 10% of votes.
