YEREVAN, MARCH 5, ARMENRESS. Armenian pre-selection phase for "New Wave" international music festival has already launched. The applications for participating must be submitted at "Armenia" TV from March 1 to 24. All young and talented singers are eligible for the contest. 3-7 semi-finalists will depart for Moscow to take part in the semi-final where Armenia's representative in "New Wave" will be chosen.
The Armenian selection responsible for the contest Mher Baghdasaryan told "Armenpress", Armenian pre-selection phase final concert will be held in Yerevan, in the beginning of April. Russian show business performers will also attend the concert. The official jury will arrive in Armenia as well and Armenian specialists of the field and music producer of the concert will join them. Changes are expected connected with the contest place. Possibly it will not be held in Yurmala this year.
